Overview
Strategic business manager supporting our Equity Distribution business. The Business Manager will partner with Research Sales, SPAC and convert business and the various control and support functions in order to drive and meet Business objectives. The Business Manager role is a trusted advisor to the Business in all aspects including strategy, people agenda, financial performance, and controls.

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients focused on the delivery of advice on equity capital markets issuances and opportunities
• Create and deliver high-value added financial analysis to targeted universe of clients and prospects
• Collaborate with other internal teams to cross-sell other products offered by the Bank
• Provide input on the strategic direction of the group and professional development of team members How You'll Lead
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships and work collaboratively with other parts of the Bank
• Identify issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication both internally and with other bank areas, and through the monitoring of productivity against benchmarks
• Ensure that bank policies and guidelines applicable to the division are complied with to ensure that risk is appropriately mitigated Skills You'll Need
• Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, product and market knowledge
• Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities
• Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $170K to $200K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
